Application and Admission Process

Two of the main elements that set our Montessori school apart from mainstream childcare facilities are our focus on independence and individualization. In order to achieve this, we have developed an application process that not only maintains a balance within each classroom but also commits to supporting each individual child to the best of our ability.

We look forward to meeting your child to determine if we are a good fit for your family!

1. Create an Account with the Niagara Region Child Care Registry

Please log in or create an account with the Niagara Region Child Care Registry.

Please note: Toddlers must be 12 months and must be able to successfully carry out the following tasks:

• Walk
• Sit on a chair independently
• Sleep on a cot (as opposed to a crib)
• Be down to one rest period per day between the hours of noon (12) and 2 pm.

2. Await an Email Response from BMN

Once you have applied, you will receive a follow-up email from our Administrative Team directing you to complete our in-house waitlist package which includes:

• A Waitlist Form
• BMN's Waitlist Policies
• A letter of intent, answering the following question: "Why do you feel that Montessori is a good fit for your child?"
• A "Help Us to Get To Know Your Child Questionnaire" Form

Families have five (5) business days to complete their waitlist package in order to be considered. Failure to complete this package by this deadline will result in the removal of your child from our in-house waitlist.

3. Arrange For A School Tour

Once a spot becomes available, we will reach out to your family to arrange a tour with yourself and your child.

Following the tour, should we feel that we are a good fit for your family, we will arrange a time for you (the parent/guardian) to observe in the classroom (each for a 10 minute period).

4. Receipt of Acceptance Letter

Should we feel that we can best support your child, we will provide you with an acceptance letter and enrolment package.

5. Submit Enrolment Package and Deposit

As per our Waitlist Policy, families are required to accept the School’s offer of enrolment within three (3) business days.

Your child(ren) will be welcomed into our program upon successful completion and provision of:

• The enrolment package and all accompanying documentation
• An application fee
• A deposit of 1st and 50% of last month’s (June’s) tuition.
