Our Speciality Programs
At BMN we incorporate art, music, french and physical education into our programs.
Art
From fostering self-expression and imagination, to enhancing the child's fine motor skills, research supports the benefits of art. As a school, we recognize the integral role that the arts play in the child's overall development; this is why we regularly incorporate art activities and opportunities for self-expression and creativity into our programming.
Music
From fostering brain growth and function, to enhancing memory, concentration and language, research supports the benefits of music. As a school, we recognize the integral role that music plays in the child's overall development; this is why we regularly incorporate music, song and dance into our programming.
Physical Education
Research supports the critical role that physical fitness and activity play in enhancing the child's physical, mental and emotional well-being. This is why we incorporate movement and physical activity into our daily programming. As per Ministry of Education regulations, our children receive a minimum of two hours of outdoor playtime each school day (weather permitting).
Hot Lunch Program
Our children receive a catered lunch and snack(s) through Healthy Roots Catering (HRC). HRC is a children's catering service that provides homemade meals and snacks that are "child-friendly". HRC's foods are homemade, with few ingredients, no added sugars or sodium and a whole lot of hidden veggies! For more information, please visit HRC's website: healthyrootscatering.ca
Our hot lunch program is included in the cost of tuition for our Toddler and Casa aged children, and is available at an additional cost for our elementary students.
